Analysis of Moisture Condensation by Probe Adsorption Method

Abstract
Humidity dependency of adsorption force of microtip on cleaved mica surface is analyzed. In the range of 4 to 70%RH, a S-type curve and hysteresis properties of tip adsorption are observed. The adsorption properly reflects the moisture condensation process on the substrate. The tip-substrate adsorption property can be analyzed due to meniscus formation.
