Abstract
ThecuringbehaviorofthicklayeredUVcurableurethaneacrylateresin,especiallyinfluenceofcuringconditionsuponthecure-depthprofileintheresinlayer,wasexaminedbytheuseofaphotoDSCmethod.FromthephotoDSCdataoftheresin-layerscuredundervariousconditions,thetime-courseoftheprofilesinthelayersandtheinfluenceofUVlightintensityupontheprofiles,werecharacterized.Withregardtothelatter,itwasclarifiedthatcure-depthoftheresinshowedtendencytoincreasewiththelightintensityuptoabout140mW/cm-,andabovethisvalue,thecure-depthdecreasedwiththelightintensity.ItwasalsoclarifiedthattherewasthemostsuitableUVintensityforthisresintoobtainthehighestcure-depth.
