Abstract

The thiol compound has high reactivity and can react correspondence functional group quantitatively by heat or/and UV irradiation. We developed the preparation of organic-inorganic hybrid product by thiol-ene reaction using thiol-containing polysilsesquioxanes. These hybrid materials had some specific properties, and it has been expected that thiol-containing polysilsesquioxanes are suitable for functional transparent materials such as high refractive index coating agent, photocuring materials, self-healing coating materials, and so on.
