Abstract

Adhesion technology that aims to achieve both carbon neutrality(CO2 reduction)and ultra-high-precision adhesion. By irradiating the laser light only to the necessary parts, it cures in seconds, and the curing energy can be reduced by 95% compared to the conventional curing oven. By adopting reactive ester material with low activation energy and thermally conductive filler, it is possible to achieve adhesion reaction with little curing distortion even with rapid curing. This laser cured adhesive technology has been used in DENSOʼs camera modules, which are safe and secure products, since 2017, and has been used in more than 1 million vehicles so far. This technology also greatly contributes to reduce the traffic accidents.
