Abstract

“Microwave-driven adhesive curing methods” have been attracting attention as a solution to the problems associated with existing curing methods that use heat and ultraviolet light. Although not widely known, microwave curing methods have a long history and are already utilized in many manufacturing processes. Additionally, microwave curing adhesive methods are employed for special purposes because they can quickly produce high-quality bonds while preventing adverse effects on the objects being joined. About the heat curing source of this fascinating adhesive, it will introduce the history and technical background of the adhesive curing method using microwave heating by dividing it into the emerging stage, growth stage, and development stage. Finally, it will provide an overview of the challenges and their solutions. Through this series of explanations, it hope to provide an image of adhesive technology that leverages the advantages of microwave heating and spark interest in the topic.
