Abstract
Exposure and responsive prevention (ERP) has been effective treatment for obsessive-complusive disorder (OCD). In addition to this, it has been suggested that behaivoural experiments has been also effective for obsessive-complusive disorder. Behavioural experiments are planned in order to test the validity of the patients' existing beliefs. This case report demonstrates a cognitive behaivoural therapy (CBT) using ERP and behavioural experiments for OCD involves some fear of harming other people. As a result of the CBT, the degrees of symptoms of OCI (Obsessive Compulsive Inventory) were alleviated. In conclusion, the CBT was effective for this case. The behaivoural experiments would be effective for OCD, because it can change the belief that exacerbates OCD without exposure for frightening situation.
