Abstract
The purpose of this study is to introduce an adjustable beam flattening system which is used to maximize beam intensity on target volume in proton therapy. The total irradiation time will be reduced using this system. The validation of this method was done in the proton therapy facility of Cyclotron and Radioisotope Center in the Tohoku University.
