(3) Analysis of the 110 MWt Simplified PBR Design with Peu a Peu fuel loading scheme.

Abstract

Neutronic and steady state thermal hydraulic analysis were performed in the previous study for a reference design of the small simplified Pebble Bed Reactor. Based on the results obtained from the reference design, in the present study, neutronic analysis of the 110 MWth simplified pebble bed reactor design was performed. Criticality and burnup characteristics are the major concerns in this study.
