Abstract

Oxidation of graphite in HTGR can be happen under the air-ingress accidents. To improve the oxidation resistance of graphite, SiC coating can be an effective measure. Neutronic analysis for prismatic HTGR has been performed to estimate the effect on criticality and burnup.
