Abstract

We are developing bulk absorber coupled superconducting TES microcalorimeters for high energy resolution gamma-ray spectroscopy. Our first prototype Sn absorber epoxy-post coupled TES detector was measured at JAEA Oarai research and development center, reported ~ 485 eV FWHM energy resolution at 60 keV, with a fall time of the signal response ~6.6 ms.
