Abstract
Both the tea root borer, Xyleborus germanus and tea twig borer, Xyleborus compactus reproduced normally under the artificial exchanges of their symbiotic ambrosia fungi. These two symbiotic fungi belonging to two different beetles seemed to be alike morphologically and physiologically except that the optimum temperatures of sporulation in cultivated spores were different.
