A New Species of the Genus Grapholita TREITSCHKE from Japan Allied to the Oriental Fruit Moth, Grapholita molesta (BUSCK) (Lepidoptera : Tortricidae)

Abstract

A new tortricid species belonging to the genus Grapholita was described from Japan. It is very closely related to the Oriental fruit moth, G. molesta (BUSCK) but differs in the width of forewing and in he shape of the male hindwing and genitalic characters.
