Two Important Insect Pests, Spodoptera litura (F.) and S. littoralis (BOISD.) (Lepidoptera : Noctuidae), on Various Crops-Morphological Discrimination of the Adult, Pupal, and Larval Stages

Abstract

Adult speciments of S. litura from Japan (Kyushu and Amami-oshima), Formosa, and Australia were compard with one another for possible geographic variation. The adult, pupal, and larval stages of S. litura from Japan were morphologically compared with S. littoralis from Egypt.
