Geology of the Miura Peninsula

Abstract

Carring out the intention of the late Professor Yanosuke OTUKA of the University of Tokyo, the Tertiary stratigraphy of the Miura Peninsula has been studied by collaboration of many investigators. The sequence of strata established is in descending order as Table 1. Generalized descriptions of these formations and members are given, together with some short notes on the structure.
