Abstract
In this paper, we propose contour approximation method by Dynamic Programming and Feedback algorithm. Currently, LSI’s processing speed has been dramatically developed, so that Dynamic Programming can be achived by a general-purpose computer. In conventional researches, segmentation of contour is used in order to approximate the line accurately. The number of extracted points, however, greatly increases on some segments. We propose Feedback algorithm to remove redundant points. Data-Error evaluation verifies the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm.
