Abstract

The processing of non-standardised "glyphs" is a persistent problem in the development of digital document, and "glyph registration" is one of the solutions to this. This presentation introduces the audience to the role and function of glyph registration in the system of electronic document processing, as well as to the planned enhancement of registration system, and the possibility of new areas of application of glyph registration.
