Study on Evaluation of Brittleness and its Countermeasure about the Watermarking Method Using Wavelet Transform

Abstract

Along with the advance of the digital technology and the spread of communication network, the copyright protection of multimedia contents becomes more important. One countermeasure of this problem is digital watermarking. In this research, we found that our method which utilizes wavelet transform has a security defect, and we propose a new embedding method which improves the defect of our previous method.
