Abstract

Recently, the trial to grasp traffic conditions automatically by using the template matching and so on is being attention. However, that contains a problem that can't get the precision of high distinction with vehicles' various characteristics. In this research, a new automatic traffic monitoring system using fewer feature points is proposed Minutia matching in biometric technique effective in finger point distinction is applied to the system. As an experimental result, superiority of the proposed method is confirmed by distinction rate compared with conventional method.
