Abstract
This paper proposes an efficient data representation scheme to improve the performance of a data hiding method [1] in MPEG compressed domain. Reverse zerorun length (RZL) is proposed to efficiently encode message by considering the distance between two excited macroblocks. RZL simultaneously achieves high payload and high embedding efficiency, thus RZL is able to suppress the filesize increases during data embedding in [1]. RZL is compared to matrix encoding, and computer simulations are carried out to verify the basic performance of RZL.
