Abstract

In this study, we developed an estimation method for a face’s age that uses the Gabor features extracted from face images. W e selected more a ge sensitive ones to form a feature vector of the reduced dimensions. In this feature selection process, we introduced a criterion based on the ratio of between class to within class variances.
