Abstract

Diffracted field of a electromagnetic wave in a pyramidal horn antenna is obtained by spectral method. The formulation obtained by this report can be applied at the wide region including the near-field. We considered together about the Fresnel approximation of the diffracted field and the Fraunhofer approximate condition by the direct integration method.
