Abstract

Hyperspectral imaging (HSI) is a growing imaging technology originated from remote sensing that acquires spatially resolved spectra from an object. Recent advances in image sensor technologies and computational power enables the development of small hyperspectral camera systems and HSI has been applied in diverse researches and industrial areas. We describe a brief overview of HSI and introduce some cases of hyperspectral applications and future experience with spectral imaging.
