Abstract

In this paper, we introduce various fiber transport solutions for 5G and beyond network. We present the concept of optical self heterodyne system for generation and transmission of radio signals in the millimeter wave band. We experimentally confirm the satisfactory performance for broadband radio signal transmission in the 90 GHz band.
