Abstract

A 3D point cloud is a representation of a 3D space with many discrete coordinate information by laser or photogrammetry. By processing 3D point clouds, we can directly analyze the features in 3D space, and thus various applications are expected. In this work, 3D point cloud data obtained from actual remains are used for shape detection using three kinds of indices (DoN, curvature, and ND-PCA).
