A Study on Overlap Rate between Frames in 3D Model Reconstruction with Motion Vectors

Abstract

In this work , we propose a method to calculate the overlap rate between frames using motion vectors and optical flow. In this method, the amount of frame movement is calculated from the amount of change in each vector detected. The accuracy of each vector was evaluated by experiments using moving images with different set values, and the overlap rate of 3D model reconstruction was examined.
