Abstract
For evaluation of dynamic seismic load in reliability analysis and reliability-based design, simplified models such as Kanai-Tajimi's Power Spectrum are often used for its simplicity. On the other hand, the evaluation methods of seismic ground motions with fault models are adopted in deterministic structural design, and they are also expected to be applied to probabilistic analysis and design. We focused on power spectrum and effective duration depending on frequency to evaluate non-stationarity of seismic ground motion and showed the way of extracting them with stochastic Green's function method here. This method was verified by simulation of response spectra and random vibration analysis on a linear FEM frame model.
