Abstract
This paper proposes a series of process that may be applied to a farm planning support system to construct a farming-system database. These processes consists of an arrangement step, a systematization step and a registration step.
These processes allow the rapid collection of comparatively homogeneous farming-systems data, which are not greatly influenced by the knowledge and the experiences of each user. These processes are effective for constructing farming-system databases.
Our work has identified that standardization of farm operations, improvement of related systems, and support for upgrading of users' literacy are the crucial subjects to address next.
