Abstract
A vegetable and fruits market information database ”NAPASS for Web” for World Wide Web (WWW) service has been developed. The system integrates an existing command-driven database ”NAPASS (Nationwide Agricultural products Price Analysis Support System)” and a newly developed WWW interface using FORM Tag function of HTML. Although the WWW interface for NAPASS provides an easy operation graphical user interface (GUI) with visualization of retrieved data, the development of the WWW interface was reasonably simple.
Thus most existing database such a NAPASS can be easily integrated to WWW service using the same methods described in this paper.
