Abstract

Although High-rise buildings provide positive function in life, it has dysfunction that can occur mass disaster when fire or disaster occurs. In order to respond the fire safety about potential risk, PBD is obligatorily implemented. But comparing to Advanced countries such as Japan or United States, fire safety infra of Korea is lack. In Korea, standards of fire and evacuation-on simulation are presented by PBD reference scenario when writing fire scenarios. But it is too lacking to consider specific situations. Also, scenarios presented by PBD standards haven't based data about state-by-state. So, Korean Fire and aviation experts depend on individual's background knowledge and experience to verify the fire safety. Accordingly, the verification results appear differently. In this study, PBD standards of Japan and China are compared with Korean standards. By comparing PBD of each county-s, current problems and improvements of fire protection provision are presented.
