Abstract
Recently there is increased interest in worldwide to present the attractive resources of geological features that most people were not interested in so far. This may create the opportunities to learn natural landscape based upon Okinawa geological features not only for children but also adult and to pass down geological heritage by Geotourism with appropriate tourist as tourism resources.
In Okinawa, places for Geopark and Geotourism would be special sites for religious reason. There are needs of appropriate manner and norm, permission for enter the special site, preparing guideline, good Interpreter and interpretation program for promoting tourism activity there. This presentation focuses on consideration and possibility for promoting Geopark and Geotourism in Okinawa.
