Agro-food trade of prewar Taiwan

with special reference to the Food Regime Theory

Abstract

Agro-food trade of prewer Taiwan was discussed from the view point of Food Regime Theory. The theory has provied a comprehensive view on the world scale food supply systems but was written in Western context. The speaker would like to try to re-examine the theory form Asian context. The data was based on the collection of Institute of East Asian Economic Affairs, Yamaguchi University.
