Peddling Activities of Vegetables in the Kamigamo district, Kyoto city

Abstract

In this study, I analyzed the evolution of production activities and peddling activities of vegetables in Kamigamo district, Kyoto city, and I examined factor in the continuation of peddling activities. Factor in the continuation of peddling activities in the Kamigamo district is narrowness of the farmland area. Therefore, farmer in the Kamigamo district cannot mass-produce of vegetables. Small lot production of many products of vegetables in the Kamigamo district is suitable for peddling activities.
