On the daily minimum temperatures in Iwate and Miyagi prefecture

Abstract

The author tried to clarify distribution of daily minimum temperatures in Iwate and Miyagi prefecture after the Great East Japan Earthquake. We know that many victims stayed at gymnasium or outside. Occurrence the earthquake was at 14:46JST. After that in this area, the temperatures were 0.5-5.8^｡C at 14:40JST, there were 0.6-5.6^｡C at 14:50JST. In Shiogama, Miyagi prefecture the AMeDAS observatory had recorded 0.0^｡C at 16:00JST. The minimum temperature in this area was -5.6^｡C in Fudai, Iwate prefecture 12 March. Until the end of this march, -6.4^｡C was recorded in Fudai.
