Abstract
As a part of one Sea of Okhotsk-related project launched by the Institute of Low Temperature Science, Hokkaido Univ., this study estimated the annual freshwater discharge from the Kamchatka Peninsula to its surrounding oceans by using the combination of specific discharge and multiple regression analysis, . Estimated annual discharge amount is 146.98 ± 0.79 km3 for watersheds on the western side of the peninsula, 135.30 ± 0.65 km3 on the eastern side, and 282.28 ± 0.72 km3 in total, which are calculated from a multiple regression model with a reasonably good quality.
