Abstract
Historical Disaster Climatology aims at verifying and analyzing meteorological factors, such as Typhoons and Frontal/Low Pressures, which caused heavy rainfalls and strong winds during historical times. We made an attempt at clarifying the long term variations in the frequency of heavy rainfalls and strong winds based on historical weather documents.
