Abstract
We analyzed a dust event in May 2017 by using the HImawari-8 DustRGB, and found that the Horqin Sandy Land is a new source of the Asian dust. We also investigated the relationship between the dust occurrence and environmental change in Horqin Sandy Land (HSL). HSL is important as the Asian dust source because it is located near Korea and Japan.
