Abstract

Heavy rain by typhoon Hagibis gave many shallow landslides in Marumori Town, Japan. GIS analysis was performed using precipitation, landslide inventory and DEM; as a result, for the three-hour precipitation, landslide area ratio was higher in 200-220 mm than in 180-200 mm and weak peak was confirmed in 80-100 and 120-140 mm, respectively. For slope angle, weak peaks were confirmed but more than 0.03% in the ratio was recorded from 10-45 degree without remarkable peak. For slope aspect, orientation bias of the ratio was confirmed in northwest. For horizontal curvature, the ratio was higher on concave than on convex slope.
