Abstract

In Japan, "Indian restaurants" are increasing rapidly. However, most new stores are Nepalese owners and cooks. Moreover, it doesn't seem to be very prosperous even if it is turned into a chain store. In this presentation, the ethnic strategy of Nepalese immigrants will be clarified in Kobe City as an example, starting from the clarification of the reason and background that the number of “Indian restaurants” managed by Nepali is increasing rapidly.
