Strategies of Japanese language schools in Nepal

Abstract

According to the statistics of foreign residents, many Nepalese migrate to Japan for study at Japanese language schools. These Japanese language school in Japan have closed connections with Japanese language schools in Nepal. A field work was carried out at Kathmandu and Baratpur in Nepal. The field works focus on strategies of Japanese language school in Nepal.

The field works find out that the key point of these schools’ strategy is not to study language but to get visa and send students to Japan. That is, their business is mainly consultancy. They try to search other connection in Japan.
