The Nature of Education in Germany:

The frontiers of graffiti research - Integrating Artistic Practice into “Erdkunde”

Abstract

The arts are not an independent domain, but also exist in some aspects as an indispensable element of being human. In this presentation, beyond the introduction of the Japanese and German education systems and geography teaching methods, the authoer approaches the essence of German education from a practical and academic point of view of the arts, especially using the study of "graffiti" as an example, which seems to be somewhat difficult to handle in the current compulsory education in Japan.
