Regional Conditions for Urban Renewal during Transition Stage of Urban Change

– through a Case of Germany –

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to consider theoretically the characteristics of urban renewal during the transition stage of urban change through a case study in Germany where the urban renewal projects have largely introduced. So that, I would like to argue whether the urban area has been changed through the medium- and long-term regional conditions (incl. physical, social and economic environment conditions) for urban renewal.
