Abstract

We examined the differences in water quality between the Sadamitsu River and the Anabuki River in the Yoshino River system by comparing the differences in geology and the presence or absence of hydroelectric power plants. As a result of the study, it was confirmed that EC rises when passing through the fracture zone in the upper part of the Anabuki River. In addition, it was confirmed that it is necessary to constantly discharge water of 0.2 m3/s or more in order to prevent deterioration of water quality due to water intake from hydroelectric power plants
