Abstract

The study reveals that residents of Nuodeng Village have come to recognize the value and importance of local resources, particularly cultural and specialty resources, due to various conservation initiatives, including the establishment of relevant institutional frameworks and the conservation and utilization of resources. Traditional village conservation activities have proven effective in enhancing awareness of local resource conservation and promoting sustainable resource utilization. However, challenges remain, including low environmental awareness, conservative attitudes, and a strong desire for improved living conditions. To ensure sustainable traditional village preservation, it will be crucial to foster resident-led conservation efforts and engage the younger generation.
