Abstract

GIS and topography are important for realizing the student-centered problem-solving learning that the current curriculum guidelines emphasize. However, in textbooks and classes, it has been pointed out that the treatment of GIS and topography continues to follow the content of the old curriculum, and is not sufficiently responsive to the changing times.

Even without waiting for revisions to the curriculum guidelines or textbooks, improvements can be made by sharing awareness of the issues and putting them into practice by teachers.We would like to highlight practical examples and determine future direction.
