Abstract
Patient: A patient (62 years old, female) visited the hospital with the chief complaint of severe periodontitis and teeth mobility. After several teeth extractions, an immediate denture was delivered. Specifically, a metal structure denture using the functionally generated path (FGP) technique was delivered.
Discussion: The remaining abutment teeth were preserved because the retainable removable denture had high rigidity. Functional occlusion would contribute not only to the decrease of denture adjustment time, but also the long-term stability of the occlusion.
Conclusion: The retainable removable denture of the abutment teeth with severe periodontitis was effective for stability.
