Patient: The patient was a 65-year-old man whose chief complaints were incompatible dentures and mastication disorder. A chewing disorder by advanced residual ridge resorption was diagnosed, and denture prosthetic treatment was provided for the purpose of the stability of the denture. The fracture of the jaw by such contingency was coped with, and good results were obtained.
Discussion: The artificial molar teeth were arranged in a reverse horizontal overlap only on the right side, and the arrangement and the adjustment were different between the right and the left. In such case, denture holding and stability can be achieved by arranging the position of the artificial teeth.
Conclusion: The treatment of the advanced residual ridge resorption and mandible fracture case using denture prosthesis improved the chief complaint and produced good results for the patient.
