Library activities in Japanese broadcasting industry

Abstract

The writer analized the present condition of library activities in broadcasting industry-NHK and commercial broadcasting.
As a conclusion, the writer points out that although broadcasting libraries are behind other special libraries in their activities, a new plan, for example, Material Center for Commercial Broadcasting and library cooperation between NHK and National Association of Commercial Broadcastors are developing.
