On reclassification

Abstract

This is to report and analize reclassification done at the Tokyo Metropolitan University (Toritsu Daigaku) in terms of organization, process, and efficiency, where N. D. C. was newly adopted for the traditional system. 15 members including 5 professional completed reclassification of 74,546 books in 32 days.
