What makes them non-readers in the farmvillages?

Abstract

Most of the People living in the farm-villages do not read, because (1) they are much poorer economically than those in the urban area, (2) the reading materials and the leaders are insufficient, (3) the feadalistic customs are still dominant, (4) the other mass media than books are much more accessible, and (5) reading guidance is not well carried on.
