This paper is continued from previous paper, and more recent trends in Chinese bibliographical study are surveyed.
In chapter 1 the disputations on the research object of Chinese bibliography after the Cultural Revolution are reviewed.
In chapter 2 based upon two prominent introductory texts, we investigated general concepts about such problems as main contents of Chinese bibliography at present time, the relations with other fields.
After the end of the Cultural Revolution, the so-called “new technological revolution” have had a great impact on the bibliographical study. Some bibliographers consider this impact a crisis of traditional bibliography, but others consider it a good chance of new development of bibliography. In chapter 3 we reviews some opinions of the latter bibliographers.
